With more than 50 years of combined industry experience, the founders of CoolCab Technology, Jim Cannon and Gregg Chapman, are leading the idle reduction movement in Australia. Pioneering CoolCab Technology, Jim and Gregg are passionate about air conditioning, particularly within the earthmoving and mining sectors, and determined to help Australian businesses save money and improve their overall performance.
Are your operators required to stay in their machines whilst not performing operational tasks, unnecessarily consuming excess fuel?
Offering unmatched reliability and versatility, CoolCab Technology can be custom designed to fit most makes and models of machinery, and installed almost anywhere on the machine.
How Does It Work?
Storing power generated by the engine during operation using a 24 volt DC driven compressor run by a battery bank, the machine’s engine can effectively be turned off for 3 hours, depending on the environmental conditions, whilst still producing air conditioning for the operator. As soon as the machine returns to work from its idle state, the batteries are simply recharged once again.
Offering unmatched reliability and versatility, CoolCab Technology can be custom designed to fit most makes and models of machinery and installed almost anywhere on the machine.
The CoolCab Technology system can be integrated utilising the existing evaporator of your machinery, or alternatively, a completely new system can be supplied and installed.
Independently tested to guarantee optimum performance and safety even in the harshest weather conditions, CoolCab Technology allows you to keep your cab cool long after the engine has been turned off.
