Despite the contingency that resulted from COVID-19 and the impossibility of meeting with many people, Haulotte Latin American subsidiaries – Haulotte México, Haulotte Brasil, Haulotte Argentina and Haulotte Chile – are still very active. The technical staff is asked to provide customized training sessions, either face-to-face or online, to update customers’ knowledge.
Technical trainings for maximum autonomy
Haulotte subsidiaries in Latin America remain attentive to their customers and organize comprehensive training courses complying with the social distancing measures according to their needs.
Recently, Haulotte México provided technical training for Cementos Moctezuma, a company specialized in the manufacturing and sale of cement and concrete. The 2-day program took place at the client site and focused on MEWPs’ operation and safety.
We made a mix of theory and practical training, gained technical knowledge in terms of diagnosis, calibration, and maintenance of major subcomponents, and discussed the location and function of each electrical and hydraulic element
said Erick Daniel Rivera, a trainer at Haulotte México.
In Mendoza Province, Argentina, three technicians from RK Elevaciones passed the IPAF course organized by Haulotte. Indeed, the Argentine subsidiary is an approved IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) center and regularly trains people in the safe and effective use of mobile elevating work platforms. Attendees will recieve their Powered Access Licence (PAL Card) from Sergio Lobotrico, trainer at Haulotte Argentina.
Because of strict regulations in regard to coronavirus, Haulotte Brasil chose to host webinars to discuss the technical features of various machines. On April 29th, they held an online training focused on scissor lifts, especially on the Compact range. Haulotte services, including the MyHaulotte web portal, were also on the agenda.
Customers’ skills development requires internal expertise. Haulotte’s staff regularly benefits from advanced training to remain at the cutting edge of the whole product range. In April, Haulotte Chile provided its technical personnel with an in-depth training for the 10 meter high category of telehandlers (HTL 3210, 3510, 4010 and 5210). Internal specialists intervened to review the models, options, and maintenance operations.
