Steelwrist, a Swedish manufacturer of tiltrotators, quick couplers and work tools for excavators, has inaugurated its new North American headquarters in Newington, Connecticut. The event was attended by U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, executives from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) as well as dealers and customers. The opening of the new facility marks a major expansion for Steelwrist’s operations, enhancing its capacity to serve the rapidly growing North American market.
Senator Blumenthal, along with Steelwrist CEO Stefan Stockhaus, conducted the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, reflecting strong support and enthusiasm within the community.
“This inauguration represents a significant step forward for Steelwrist in North America and with the new facility we can continue our exceptional growth trajectory and even better serve our customers and dealers in the region. It was a pleasure to host Senator Richard Blumenthal and explain the efficiency improvement potential that our products can bring to the US construction industry.”
said Stefan Stockhaus, Steelwrist CEO.
Steelwrist entered the North American market at Conexpo in 2017 and established its first location in Berlin, Connecticut. The new headquarters in Newington, just five minutes from the original site, is more than five times larger, underscoring Steelwrist’s rapid growth and commitment to the region.
With increased capacity and improved infrastructure, Steelwrist is well-positioned to continue leading innovation in the tiltrotator market and supporting the needs of its North American dealers and customers. As excavator contractors seek to increase the efficiency and versatility of their investments, the demand for tiltrotators is growing rapidly in the region. In recent years, Steelwrist has experienced strong growth, with tiltrotator sales increasing at a high speed.
“I am very excited to have inaugurated our new headquarters in Newington which marks a new chapter in Steelwrist’s support to the North American market. We have an exceptional team in place where every single one goes the extra mile for our customers. Combining this with our new facility, I look forward to continued success.”
said Richard Aulin, Steelwrist VP Region Americas.
