Once again Tigercat appeared at North America’s largest equipment event, CONEXPO. A diverse collection of five products included two TCi branded machines, two high horsepower Tigercat mulchers, and the 6900 grinder. The Tigercat stand saw a constant flow of traffic from varied industry sectors, benefitting from an attendance level approaching 140,000 over the five-day event.
More than 50 Tigercat employees travelled to the show in staggered shifts, both as product experts to answer questions and interact with visitors, and to pound the pavement, evaluating new technologies and heavy equipment industry trends.
Tigercat dealers, including Inland, Wajax, Bejac, B&G Equipment, Ricer, Redhead, Forest Pro, Triad, Torgerson’s, Titan and CJ Logging, came from all over North America. Tigercat used the opportunity to conduct product walk-arounds on the 920 dozer and the 6900 grinder for dealer sale staff. Bejac president, Ron Barlet, commented, “A huge thank you for the walk-around with our guys. This seemed to be one of the more productive shows and I do appreciate the investment Tigercat made by showing so many machines.”
Many visitors were fixated on the new TCi 920 dozer, with several attendees commenting that the 920 was a primary motivator for attending CONEXPO. Some expressed that they would consider replacing a conventional dozer with the 920 on account of the stronger build.
