HDD Advisor offers a fool-proof way for operators to quickly determine the exact HDD tooling configuration needed to get their drill up and running the next day.
To simplify tooling configuration and streamline parts purchasing for horizontal directional drill (HDD) operators, Ditch Witch has launched an Ecommerce version of HDD Advisor. The online platform can help operators minimize downtime by quickly configuring a drill for a job and easily connecting with their local dealer inventory to access the parts they need.
Historically, identifying the proper tooling for jobsites has been a time-consuming and paper-intensive process. Using HDD Advisor, operators and dealers can quickly get the correct configurations and solutions by answering just a few questions about their drill, drill pipe and jobsite. The platform automatically populates all the possible options for building out a drill string. For added peace of mind, HDD Advisor will only allow users to select tooling that will correctly configure with their drill.
HDD Advisor includes the option to save drill string configurations for future reference and to simplify the ordering of replacement parts. Operators can also share drill string configurations with their dealer and print or email summaries.
To increase flexibility and value for operators, parts manufactured by Ditch Witch and listed on HDD Advisor are compatible with both Ditch Witch drills and competitive units.
