TII SCHEUERLE PowerHoss modules are the all-rounders for internal special cargo logistics. These qualities are also appreciated by American heavy cargo haulers. TII SCHEUERLE recorded correspondingly high visitor numbers during CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas. The industry expert for heavy and special transport solutions from the TII Group also used the trade fair to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the SCHEUERLE and to present the SCHEUERLE Connect telematics system – unique in the segment to date – as well as the new brand image live to the American market as well.

The new TII SCHEUERLE brand image and the versatile products brought a high number of trade fair visitors to the booth of TII SCHEUERLE, the TII Group’s industry expert for special and heavy transport solutions both on and off road. This was partly due to the visual highlight of the booth, a meeting point built on two SPMT PowerHoss platforms, where visitors could get information about the SCHEUERLE SPMT series and other products and services. With spectacular photographs exhibited in the TII Gallery, they could get an impression of the TII Group’s manifold transport and maneuvering solutions for the construction and energy industries, for plant engineering, and far beyond. Supporting them at the booth were TII Group’s long-standing US partners, TPSE (Transport Products & Service Enterprises) and RGS (Rigging Gear Sales).

SPMT PowerHoss Offers User-Friendliness and Fast Operational Readiness

Representing the SPMT series, which TII SCHEUERLE developed exactly 40 years ago, the bestseller SPMT PowerHoss attracted many visitors to the booth. The self-propelled platform transporters of this series not only feature integrated PPUs, but are ready for immediate use and are true all-rounders in special goods intralogistics. Furthermore they offer the same advantages as the conventional SPMT modules such as robust construction, hydrostatic drive, and electronic multidirectional steering. 

Modules with two-, four-, and six-axle lines or payloads of 80, 180, and 330 tons are available. To meet higher payload requirements, the combination features user-friendly operation either mechanically or electronically in an open network via plug and play. In this way, a combination of four SPMT PowerHoss 330 is capable of moving loads of up to 1,320 tons.

SCHEUERLE Connect Enables Predictive Service Management and Analysis Functions

For the SCHEUERLE SPMT series, TII SCHEUERLE now has a self-developed telematics system available that offers special advantages to all customers. Even before the failure of a transport module, the vehicle automatically reports the need for service, with the result that operations and service times can be better planned and the uptime of the transport solution increases significantly. In turn, operating costs are reduced. While most systems in the transport segment that are related by name only offer comparatively simple remote diagnosis functions, SCHEUERLE Connect also opens up so-called smart services via intelligent analysis functions. In addition to predictive maintenance and service management, these include a wide range of options for data analysis and process comparisons (business intelligence) as well as monitoring the technical condition (condition monitoring).
