Haulotte has been committed for several years to providing its customers with the most sustainable and safest working at height solutions, while respecting people and the environment. Recently, the Group gained new ISO certifications following a thorough audit carried out by BSI, an independent certification body.
«Constantly climbing the steps towards excellence» is the credo of the teams at Haulotte’s largest hub, located in Lorette (France), which has just obtained the Environment, Quality, and Health & Safety triple certification.
Haulotte has long been involved in employee safety management and has implemented communication and awareness-raising measures to reduce workplace risks and promote wellbeing at work. Achieving ISO 45001:2018 certification demonstrates the Hub’s commitment to creating better and safer working conditions. This homologation is the result of a proactive health & safety policy and encourages the platform to maintain this dynamic.
The ISO 14001:2015 certification is part of a wider strategy that aims to make the Haulotte hub’s daily operations more sustainable and to reduce the impact of its activity on the environment. The platform developed processes taking the environment into account, such as waste management, packaging reduction, the implementation of a responsible purchasing charter and the monitoring of transporters’ CO2 emissions. In addition to the procedures, Haulotte also conducted a campaign for all employees on the environmental policy aimed at making everyone aware of their individual and collective role.
By meeting the world’s most widely recognized Quality Management System standard, Haulotte European Hub gives customers the confidence that they can trust the services delivered throughout the supply chain. The ISO 9001:2015 certification testifies the platform’s desire to remain at the forefront of quality standards.
“We are delighted to have obtained these three certifications, as they reward efforts initiated many months ago. From now on, our ambition is to go even further in our commitments”
says Guillaume Mercier, Global Service Supply Chain Manager at Haulotte.
Haulotte Customer Service meets ISO 9001:2015 standards
To continuously improve its organization, the corporate customer service department has decided to go one step further with ISO 9001:2015 certification. A complete audit of all business processes took place, including marketing, sales, technical support, spare parts management, repair and maintenance dedicated to people and material lifting equipment.
“It demonstrates our ability to provide world-class services, as well as to streamline processes and become more effective”
says Philippe Gault, Haulotte Customer Service Director.
“This certification is the result of teamwork and high internal discipline”,
he adds.
Haulotte now aims at achieving the ISO certifications for all its spare parts hubs and platforms, factories and subsidiaries; seven* of them already obtained certifications.
