ERDCWERX is announcing the following opportunities to collaborate with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). Small businesses, including construction equipment manufacturers and vendors, and other interested parties are invited to submit white papers regarding one or both opportunities as appropriate.
ERDCWERX seeks to identify work tools that attach to compact track, backhoe, or front-end loaders for handling the removal and placement of roadway materials. The objective of the innovation hub’s Road Repair Work Tool Attachments Capability Assessment is to identify technologies for removing destructive roadway, preparing the repair area, and placing materials for rapidly hardening in-place solid or unbound pavement material, thereby increasing structural capacity and expediting vehicle maneuver across degraded or under designed infrastructure.
Interested parties are invited to submit a brief white paper to introduce products to the ERDC and explain product capabilities. The Road Repair Work Tool Attachments tech challenge is accepting submissions through Tuesday, March 30.
ERDCWERX also invites prototype concepts related to Infrastructure Maintenance, Repair and Reconstruction Technologies as described in ERDC’s Military Engineering Broad Other Transaction Authority Announcement.
There is no requirement to be certified to do business with the federal government in order to submit for these opportunities.
