Mammoet has received the prestigious Safety Award from the Crane Rental Association of Canada for its high standards in safety and security in 2019.

It was during the virtual Annual General Meeting of the Crane Rental Association of Canada that the Safety Awards were presented to eight member companies earlier this summer.

The association’s initiative is to promote and celebrate safety in the Canadian crane industry. The Crane Rental Association of Canada is a not-for-profit, crane organization that represents crane rental companies, manufacturers and suppliers of cranes and equipment, and suppliers of specialty crane rental services in Canada.

Its members come from Canada, the United States and Europe. Mammoet has been a member of the Crane Rental Association of Canada since 2002 and has had several company representatives act as Board Members of the organization over the years. Earlier this summer, Gijs Verdeijen, Vice President, Mammoet Canada Western, had been named newest chairperson to serve 2020 and 2021.

Receiving the award, Gijs Verdeijen said:
