Scania Australia has unveiled an entire range of new trucks at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
This is the first time in the world the entire range has been launched simultaneously, and it is also the first launch of these NTG vehicles in the Southern hemisphere.

The New Truck Generation arrives as Scania has enjoyed its biggest annual sales in its 45-year Australian history,
Speaking at the launch, Scania’s global Head of Truck Sales, Alexander Vlaskamp, said Australia was a very important market for the truck maker.
He said Scania was working to develop greater levels of sustainability, focussing on energy efficiency, alternative fuels and electrification, and smart and safe transport, utilising increasing levels of digital services to provide higher uptime and vehicle utilisation.
Scania Australia’s Managing Director, Mikael Jansson, said Scania’s New Truck Generation are now the safest and most fuel-efficient trucks in Australia, providing at least 5% improved consumption and unique rollover side curtain airbag protection as standard.
