Premium construction machinery meeting the highest quality standards, innovative technologies and application processes as well as service “close to our customers” – that is the Wirtgen Group at bauma China 2014. The market leader presents new and established solutions for the Chinese market from its Road and Mineral Technologies divisions. The 38 exhibits in total include 11 innovations and no fewer than 13 products manufactured locally at the Langfang factory.
In Shanghai, trade visitors can look forward to a representative cross-section from the Wirtgen Group’s comprehensive product range. Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm and Kleemann are presenting some 40 machines and plants at this Chinese trade fair, more than at any time in the past. These products have not only been specially tailored to local requirements, but also exemplify the German-Chinese art of engineering and the perfect interaction between the respective German headquarters and the Langfang factory. Visitors can also look forward to exciting special presentations of the Wirtgen Group’s extensive services and applications technologies.
Wirtgen: Two large milling machines and a WR 250 lead the Wirtgen exhibits
At bauma China, Wirtgen is presenting cutting-edge solutions from its cold milling, cold recycling and soil stabilization product divisions, as well as concrete paving and surface mining. The recycler and soil stabilizer WR 250 takes pride of place among the Wirtgen exhibits this year. Designed and built to stabilize heavy or boggy ground, the powerhouse is the most powerful machine in the new WR generation. With a rated output of 777 PS, the WR 250 displays its strength on recycling sites where it pulverizes roadways up to 25 cm thick and transforms them into homogeneous granulated material. What is new is that the milling drum transmission can also be operated from the cabin, with the result that many milling drum speeds can be selected with greater flexibility. With a milling drum designed for high performance, the WR 250 produces a mix of outstanding quality at a high rate of advance.

Together with the local machines W 100 H and W 130 H, the locally built large milling machines W 1900 and W 2000 represent the upper and middle range of machine models demanded by the Chinese market.
The compact slipform pavers SP 15 and SP 25 stand for a large variety of potential uses in offset and inset slipforming of concrete pavements or profiles, such as concrete crash barriers, curbs and gutters.
Vögele: World market leader for pavers presents cutting-edge machine technology
Innovations abound: Joseph Vögele AG is presenting its two new Highway Class pavers SUPER 1900-3 L and SUPER 2100-3 L at bauma China in Shanghai. Specially designed for the requirements of the Chinese market, these tracked pavers have an extra-long material hopper and chassis, for example. Vögele is also presenting its Compact Class pavers SUPER 1103-3 and SUPER 1300-3. Pavers of the new “dash 3” generation are equipped with such innovative features as the user-friendly ErgoPlus 3 operating system and the VÖGELE EcoPlus low-emissions package. Last but not least, the fully developed fixed-width screeds and extending screeds made by Vögele are also being shown. Major machines for the local market also include the Super 1800-2 L and Super 1800-2 HD, two tried-and-tested pavers from the Universal Class.

Hamm: A world première for compactors made in China
The Hamm exhibits indisputably focus on the compactor models 318 and 320 which the compaction specialist is presenting to a broad public for the first time. Engineers from the German headquarters in Tirschenreuth and Wirtgen China in Langfang worked in close collaboration to develop two machines specially tailored to local requirements for the Chinese market. These compactors stand out not only through the compact design and unique visibility concept, but also their outstanding handling and compaction properties. What results is advanced technology, high productivity and top quality in all earthwork applications. Once again, these two machines combine German quality standards with Chinese cost-awareness.
By focusing exclusively on the local market, the team of German and Chinese engineers has designed compactors meeting local requirements down to the very last detail and offering exactly the options desired by the customers.
Kleemann: New mobile cone crusher MOBICONE MCO 9 EVO
The brand new mobile cone crusher MOBICONE MCO 9 EVO is being showcased for the first time in China. It perfectly complements the jaw crusher MOBICAT MC 110 Z EVO which is likewise being shown at the trade fair. The MCO 9 EVO is characterized by the perfect quality of its end product, high crushing capacity of up to 260 tonnes per hour and a diesel direct drive unit that is both powerful and highly efficient. Its compact dimensions and weight of around 30 tonnes also make it easy to transport. When operated in combination with an MC 110 EVO, the innovative linear coupling permits an extremely smooth flow of material and hence an optimum level of material in the cone crusher at all times. A mobile screening machine of type MOBISCREEN MS 19 D is also being shown – the ideal complement to the two crushers MC 110 and MCO 9. With its three screening decks, the MS 19 D can classify up to four different granulations.
The new mobile cone crusher MOBICONE MCO 9 EVO is being premièred in China. It perfectly complements the mobile jaw crusher MC 110 Z which is also being shown in Shanghai.
Special service and technology presentation
In addition to the exhibited machines, the Wirtgen Group is once again also presenting a special show of its various services and innovative technologies, including cutting technology from Wirtgen with the HT22 quick-change toolholder system and the new generation X point-attack cutting tools. Together with the products, these technologies and services make up the unmistakable portfolio tha
